Used Car Reconditioning Technician – Ruge's Auto Group, Rhinebeck NY
Ruge's is a family-run auto group in the Hudson Valley. We're hiring a Used Car Reconditioning Technician for our Rhinebeck Ford, Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Subaru stores. You'll work on all makes and models, with a steady flow of pre-owned vehicles to get frontline-ready. If you like variety and working fast, this is the job.

What You'll Do
- Recondition pre-owned vehicles and get them frontline-ready
- Perform New York State safety and emissions inspections
- Inspect vehicles, and diagnose and repair brakes, tires, suspension, fluids and other recon items
- Work with the used car and service teams to keep vehicles moving
- Document your work clearly on repair orders

What You Need
- 2+ years of experience in a dealership, independent shop or recon shop
- Experience working on all makes and models
- Your own tools
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- NYS Certified Motor Vehicle Inspector
- ASE certifications. We'll pay for your ASE tests.
- Used car recon experience
