Summary:
The DMV & Title Associate prepares legal transfer documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles, signs over titles, processes tags/titles for customers, fleet companies and Toyota Rent A Car. Our tag and title clerk also handles our process for wholesales and purchase units.
Essential Duties:
- Processing in and out of state tag/title work on new and used vehicles
- Processing Tag/Title work for fleet companies and our Toyota Rental Vehicles
- Providing support and updates to our customers on their tag/title status
- Call on titles in transit
- Contacts banks to obtain lien releases
- Processes wholesale units
- Processes purchase unit transactions for customers and auctions
- Receipting
- Provide additional administrative support as needed
- 1 year experience as a DMV / Title Clerk
- Must obtain a North Carolina Notary
- High School Diploma or higher
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks (MVR, drug test)
Preferred:
- Experience with CVR and Beacon
