Ruge’s Subaru is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Subaru Trade-Up Advantage Advisor to help our service customers understand their vehicle upgrade options. This role is designed for someone who enjoys talking with customers, building trust, and creating opportunities by connecting current Subaru owners with the benefits of trading into a newer model.
As a Trade-Up Advantage Advisor, you will work closely with our Service and Sales teams to identify customers who may benefit from upgrading their current vehicle. Your primary responsibility will be to educate service customers on the Subaru Trade-Up Advantage program and help schedule formal appraisal appointments for those interested in exploring their options.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with Subaru service customers in a friendly, professional, and low-pressure manner.
Explain the Subaru Trade-Up Advantage program and how it may benefit customers.
Identify customers who may be in a strong equity position or who may benefit from upgrading to a newer Subaru.
Schedule formal vehicle appraisal appointments with the appropriate sales team member.
Maintain accurate customer notes and appointment details in the CRM.
Follow up with interested customers by phone, email, or text.
Partner with Service Advisors and Sales Managers to create a smooth customer experience.
Help generate quality trade-in opportunities for the dealership.
Represent Ruge’s Subaru with professionalism, honesty, and a customer-first attitude.
Ideal Candidate
The right person for this role is outgoing, organized, and comfortable starting conversations with customers. You do not need to be a traditional salesperson, but you should be confident speaking with people and explaining the value of the program in a simple, helpful way.
Qualifications
Strong communication and people skills.
Comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone.
Organized and able to manage follow-up tasks.
Positive attitude and professional appearance.
Previous dealership, customer service, BDC, sales, or service department experience is helpful but not required.
Ability to learn Subaru models, incentives, and dealership processes.
Basic computer and CRM skills preferred.
