  • Safety and Hygiene: Promote a dedicated approach to food safety and sanitation, while cultivating a team culture that exceeds expectations, advocating a warm and safe environment for all—associates, customers, vendors; the entire community!
  • Physical Stamina and Teamwork: Possess high physical stamina for prolonged standing, lifting, and teamwork to ensure overall store efficiency.
  • Organization and Inventory Management: Strong organizational skills for efficient inventory management and waste reduction through effective portion control.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Exhibit quick decision-making abilities to address challenges and adapt to dynamic work environments.
  • Proficient in English, with proficiency in Spanish considered a valuable asset.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Non-slip shoes are mandatory for a safe working environment (please note that the company does not provide).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Leadership Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven leadership in high-volume grocery stores preferred.
  • Management Skills: Proficient in efficiently managing large teams in a dynamic grocery environment, with strong leadership skills, and adept at inventory management while contributing to strategic plans in alignment with Ownership’s vision and Senior Leadership’s direction for streamlined operations.
  • Versatility: Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility, especially during night shifts.
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate with the entire Leadership Team for seamless store operations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Flexibility: Navigate the store's layout by stooping, kneeling, and twisting as necessary for various tasks.
  • Reach: Extend at or below shoulder height and stretch overhead; for example, accessing items on shelves, ensuring efficient product handling.
  • Allergen Resilience: Confidently navigate diverse fresh products, guaranteeing a safe environment for both customers and associates while managing allergen considerations.
  • Adaptability: Comfortably move through varied temperatures, adapting to the dynamic grocery and restaurant setting, which may include transitioning between refrigerated and ambient environments.
  • Steam and Smoke Resilience: Execute tasks adeptly in an environment with steam and smoke.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manual Dexterity: Demonstrate proficiency in handling various tasks.
  • Vision: Essential for reading documents, monitoring store conditions, and ensuring a safe environment for both customers and team members.
  • Stamina and Physical Agility: Maintain high levels of stamina and physical agility to continually cover the entire store and navigate multiple flights of stairs efficiently.
