Job Description:

Krieger Ford is hiring a Pickup & Delivery Driver to support our Ford Pickup & Delivery Program. This position is responsible for safely picking up and delivering customer vehicles while providing a professional, customer-focused experience from start to finish.

The Pickup & Delivery Driver plays an important role in supporting our Service Department by helping customers receive convenient vehicle pick-up and delivery service. This role requires safe driving habits, strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to represent Krieger Ford in a professional manner while interacting with customers and team members.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys driving, staying active, working independently, and providing excellent customer service while supporting a respected local dealership.

What You'll Do

As a Pickup & Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting customer vehicles, communicating with customers and staff, and supporting the daily operations of the Ford Pickup & Delivery Program.

  • Pick up and deliver customer vehicles safely, professionally, and on time.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, service advisors, managers, and dealership staff regarding pick-up and delivery details.
  • Complete basic vehicle inspections before and after transport, including checking for visible damage, mileage, fuel level, and general vehicle condition as needed.
  • Follow all traffic laws, dealership procedures, customer handling expectations, and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Safely operate cars, trucks, SUVs, and manual transmission vehicles when needed.
  • Confirm customer information, delivery location, vehicle details, appointment timing, and any special instructions before leaving the dealership.
  • Maintain communication with the Service Department regarding vehicle status, timing, route changes, delays, or customer concerns.
  • Provide a professional and positive customer experience during each pick-up and delivery interaction.
  • Represent Krieger Ford with a professional appearance, courteous attitude, and strong customer-first mindset.
  • Help ensure customer vehicles are handled with care and returned in the same condition they were received.
  • Assist with general service department support duties when not completing pick-ups or deliveries.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently while supporting a fast-paced dealership service environment.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
  • Safe, responsible driving habits are required.
  • Previous delivery driver, dealership driver, automotive driver, customer vehicle transport, shuttle driver, valet, courier, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow schedules and instructions.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected with the team.
  • Ability to drive cars, trucks, SUVs, and manual transmission vehicles comfortably.
  • Strong attention to detail when completing basic vehicle inspections and following customer instructions.
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
  • Willingness to complete a background check and drug screen.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time while driving customer vehicles.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the dealership and customer locations.
  • Ability to get in and out of cars, trucks, and SUVs throughout the day.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions while completing pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Ability to safely operate vehicles for local customer pick-up and delivery routes.
