Parts Counter Advisor – Ruge’s Auto Group, Rhinebeck NY
Ruge’s is a family-run auto group in the Hudson Valley. Our [Ford / Subaru / CDJR] parts department is busy, and we’re looking for an experienced Parts Counter Advisor to join the team full time. If you know parts, like helping people and want a steady career with room to grow, we’d like to meet you.

What You’ll Do
- Help technicians and retail customers at the counter and on the phone
- Look up, order, receive and bill parts
- Stock shelves and keep parts properly stored and labeled
- Do bin counts and help keep inventory accurate
- Pick up and deliver parts when needed
- Keep the parts department clean and organized
What You Need
- 1–2 years of automotive parts experience (dealership or retail parts store)
- Comfortable on a computer
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Available for a flexible schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays
- Customer-focused, self-motivated team player
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with CDK
- Dealership parts experience with [Ford / Subaru / Mopar]
