Position Summary:

As a Full-Time Maintenance Technician at Seed to Table, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment throughout the facility. Your expertise will keep our market, restaurant, and community space in top-notch condition. This is a full-time, non-exempt role that offers an exciting career in a high-energy, guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Quickly and efficiently diagnose and repair issues with building systems and equipment.
Safety First: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for staff and customers.
Facility Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the facility, performing light carpentry, painting, and general repairs as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to address facility needs and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Preventative Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and keep systems running at peak efficiency.

Qualifications:

Technical Expertise: Proven experience in building maintenance, including, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
Safety Awareness: Proficient in following safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Problem-Solver: Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex maintenance issues with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Upbeat & Positive: A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a well-functioning facility that enhances the guest experience.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Team-Oriented: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate clearly with management.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Footwear Requirement: Non-slip shoes are required for safety, as the company does not provide these.
Reliable Transportation: Punctuality is essential, and reliable transportation is a must.

Physical Requirements:

Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, and work in various positions (e.g., kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders) for extended periods.
Dexterity: Skilled in handling tools and equipment with precision and care.
Temperature Tolerance: Comfortable working in a variety of environments, from heated kitchen areas to cooler spaces.
Communication: Clear and effective communication, ensuring maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Vision Acuity: Maintain sharp peripheral vision and accurate near/far vision.
Hearing & Response: Ability to effectively hear and respond to instructions, even in a fast-paced and busy environment.
Allergy Tolerance: Confidently work with fresh ingredients, free from adverse allergic reactions.
Balance & Stability: Maintain physical balance while executing tasks with precision in a busy setting.
Effective Communication: Clearly convey instructions and communicate with team members, even in noisy or high-pressure situations.
Strength & Stamina: Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 100 lbs regularly.
Reaching Ability: Capable of reaching at various levels—below the waist, at the waist, and overhead.
