The role of the Junior Service Advisor is to assist the Service Advisors in daily tasks that can help improve the flow & productivity of the service lane. This includes invoicing repair orders, performing "Active Deliveries" to review the Multi Point Inspection & answer any questions, cashiering, greeting customers & handling loaner vehicle agreement write-ups. Downtime activities include answering incoming phone calls, making appointments and filing. The Junior Advisor position also provides extensive cross-training to allow the individual to become more familiar with the full role of the Service Advisor, which involves the full customer write-up process and recommending maintenance & repairs to increase gross profit. This cross-training will create future opportunities to grow into the Service Advisor role should the opening arise.
No previous automotive background required although helpful. Applicant must be people-oriented as well as team-oriented. Applicant must also be flexible to work multiple weekday shifts as well as weekends, which may include Sunday hours.
