Human Resources Generalist 

Victory Automotive Group is seeing an HR generalist to assist its HR Department with the following: onboarding, management of employee leave, employee relations, benefits administration, and development of HR policy and procedure.

The position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization. Must enjoy planning and developing systems and with great attention to detail. Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism and confidentially; must be able to articulate strategies and policies clearly and concisely; must exhibit a strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices and current regulations; and demonstrate a commitment to our mission.

Duties:

  • Responsible for understanding and communicating HR policies, procedures and systems
  • Participates in staffing logistics and takes responsibility for recruiting staff when support is needed by managers (posts positions, reviews applications, set interviews)
  • Assit with the onboarding of new employees in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Maintains personnel files in accordance with federal and state laws assuring all information is completed and audited monthly
  • Implements programs to help improve employee experience
  • Coaches, councils and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions
  • Responsible for employee off boarding to include preparing termination and severance letters
  • Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9
  • Demonstrates knowledge and respect for diversity in daily activities and employee engagement
  • Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA and company policy
  • Performs other duties as required or requested
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Three to Five years of related experience and/or combination of comparable education and experience
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources  (SPHR) or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
