Gluten Free Baker
The Gluten Free Baker follows production guides to produce needed product for the day. The Baker should be able to follow recipes for scratch baking operation. 100% Vegan – Gluten free – from Muffins to Breads, and Cookies.
Essential Job Functions:
- At least 2-3 years of baking experience at high volumes, gluten free or plate-based preferred.
- Experience in use of a Mixer and ovens are a must.
- Must have a strong understanding of breads, breakfast pastries, and bakery equipment.
- A general understanding of food presentation and bakery/kitchen operations.
- A general understanding of food safety, sanitation, and maintenance.
- Ability to work with all products and food ingredients involved in established recipes.
- Uses all senses to ensure quality standards are met.
- Able to differentiate dates to ensure freshness of product.
- Operates, cleans, and maintains all tools and equipment required in job functions.
- Able to comprehend, follow, expand, condense, and create recipes.
- Plan and produce creative bakery display and breads is required.
- Must be able to work cohesively with the entire Bakery staff as part of a team.
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
