Finance Assistant

The Finance Assistant is responsible for processing paperwork related to the sale of a vehicle. They assist in packaging the deal to send to the lender in order to fund the dealer. The finance assistant coordinates administrative operations between sales, finance, and the accounting office.
This position will be monitoring all paperwork is complete and accurate, following up on questions and assisting the manager.
The ideal candidate has some experience in an administrative position. He or she must have a pleasant and courteous personality, administrative and organizational skills, strong phone and computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
- Manages communication, such as phone calls and messages for the department
- Processing paperwork related to the sale of a vehicle.
- Overseeing that the paperwork is correct on a deal jacket.
- Submitting information required by lenders to complete the deal.
- Packaging the deal and sending it to the bank with the required documents the bank needs to fund a deal.
- Reviewing all finance reports and working with the accounting staff to clear up any discrepancies
- Provides clerical support
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Dealership experience or banking experience a plus
- Bilingual a plus
- Strong and confident personality
- Highly professional and dependable
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong math skills
- Strong computer and internet skills
