Job Title: Event Assistant
Job Summary: We are seeking an organized, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of various events, from corporate gatherings to social celebrations. The Event Assistant will work closely with the Event Coordinator and other team members to ensure events run smoothly, providing exceptional service to clients and attendees. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, an ability to multitask, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including scheduling, budgeting, and logistics
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure event needs and timelines are met
- Set up and tear down event spaces, including décor, seating, signage, and equipment
- Support the registration process, greet guests, and provide assistance throughout the event
- Help manage event materials, such as name tags, promotional items, and supplies
- Contribute to post-event tasks, including event recap reports and feedback collection
- Maintain accurate records of event details, expenses, and vendor information
- Perform other administrative duties as required
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with event management software is a plus
