Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of events for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event management, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. This role offers hands-on experience in event coordination, providing an opportunity to assist in organizing and executing a wide range of events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events from concept to completion.
- Prepare event materials such as programs, invitations, and signage.
- Manage event registrations, track RSVPs, and maintain guest lists.
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring that all elements are running smoothly.
- Assist with setting up event spaces, including arranging furniture, decorations, and technology.
- Handle event-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service to attendees, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Assist in post-event evaluations and report on event outcomes, including gathering feedback and suggestions for improvements.
- Perform administrative duties such as maintaining event schedules, sending out reminders, and managing event budgets.
- High school diploma or equivalent (College degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
