Digital Marketing Assistant

Position Overview:
The Digital Marketing Assistant will directly support the Digital Marketing Director in implementing and managing digital marketing strategies for Victory Automotive Group. This role requires an experienced automotive professional who is detail-oriented, digitally savvy, proactive in solving problems, and adept at chasing down solutions. The ideal candidate must have a comprehensive knowledge of car dealership sales and service operational processes.

This is an on-site position based in our corporate office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various channels including Google Ads, Facebook, Cars.com, Autotrader, Carfax, CarGurus, and TrueCar.
  • Monitor, automate, and report performance tracking of digital marketing initiatives across multiple platforms, at scale, including website analytics, campaign effectiveness, ROI, and KPIs.
  • Coordinate with dealerships, General Managers, BDC departments, and internal teams to gather information, updates, and approvals for digital marketing initiatives.
  • Write and manage new content creation and updates for DealerInspire dealership websites, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain and optimize Google Business Profiles for multiple dealership locations.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new digital marketing opportunities.
  • Actively address and resolve digital marketing-related challenges, demonstrating a persistent approach to problem-solving.
Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing within the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with automotive industry platforms including Elead CRM, Reynolds DMS, vAuto inventory management, DealerInspire websites, Cars.com, Autotrader, Carfax, CarGurus, and TrueCar.
  • Deep understanding of sales and service operational processes within automotive dealerships.
  • Experience working closely with BDC departments and General Managers of car dealerships.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
