Job Description:

Embark on an exciting retail journey as a Demo Supervisor at Seed to Table! As a pivotal leader within our team, you'll spearhead our food product demonstration efforts, ensuring exceptional engagement and service delivery. Your role is fundamental in orchestrating delightful experiences for our customers through innovative product showcases and promotions. Position Summary:

Join our team at Seed to Table and excel as a Demo Supervisor, embodying a diverse range of attributes crucial to the success of our customers and associates, including:

Essential Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Set a positive tone and empower associates to excel in customer engagement and product demonstrations.
  • Supervise and ensure a welcoming, tidy demonstration area for optimal customer experience.
  • Manage scheduling, workflows, and resources to optimize performance during demonstrations.
  • Focus on delivering exceptional service, guiding associates in effective product presentation and communication.
  • Handle customer concerns with tact and ensure swift resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and coach the team in providing outstanding product demonstrations and customer interactions.
  • Implement and enforce safe practices and food handling protocols, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Monitor demonstration quality and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Assist associates as needed during busy periods, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Proficient in English, with additional proficiency in Spanish considered a valuable asset.
  • Non-slip shoes are mandatory for a safe working environment (please note that company does not provide).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.

Proficiency Standards:

  • Stand and/or walk: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.  
  • Lifting, pushing, and pulling: Capable of regularly lifting, pulling, and pushing objects weighing up to 50 pounds.  
  • Vision: Peripheral vision and near and far visual acuity are essential.  
  • Communication: Effective speaking skills to convey instructions clearly and accurately to coworkers.
  • Hearing: Ability to hear and respond to inquiries and instructions effectively in a busy environment.
  • Allergen Tolerance: Ability to work with a wide variety of fresh, dried, and/or processed products, spices, and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences.
  • Dexterity: Proficient in both gross and fine manipulation for handling various products and equipment.
  • Tolerance to Environmental Conditions: Able to work in various temperatures, including hot, humid, and cold environments.
  • Flexibility and Mobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move around as needed.
