Part time position for our Subaru Service Center
Our ideal candidate maintains a safe, clean working environment for all dealership employees and customers.
Working hours; Tuesday - Friday, 2pm - 6pm, Saturday 7am - 3pm.
Essential Duties:
• Cleans the service and customer areas.
• Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees.
• Washes all windows, glass doors and glass panels throughout service area.
• Mops and cleans service waiting area, offices, technicians' locker room and lunch room, halls and shop bathroom.
• Sweeps technician stalls, service department floors, showroom, halls and vending areas.
• Cleans all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans and vending machines.
• Maintains hot beverage areas by cleaning counter surfaces and restocking coffee and related supplies as needed.
• Cleans bathrooms and restocks paper supplies as needed.
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
• Empties and cleans lunchroom refrigerator once a week
• Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
• Removes all debris from lot.
• Removes any old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts manager.
• Empties technicians oil carts with automatic pump
• Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
• Prior Janitorial experience preferred; High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
Language Skills:
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
