Body Shop Estimator  

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of auto body repair processes and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing detailed estimates, and effectively communicating with customers and insurance companies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a body shop estimator or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of auto body repair techniques and estimating software (e.g., CCC ONE, Mitchell).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Job Requirements:

Skills/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with insurance adjusters.
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Follows up on parts department orders to ensure parts availability.
  • Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop and calls customers as necessary.
  • E-mail quotes and relevant information/pics
  • Schedule new appointments.
  • Take good pictures of vehicle damages.
  • Assess vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates.
  • Communicate with customers to explain the repair process and answer questions.
  • Collaborate closely with technicians to ensure all repairs are accounted for in estimates.
  • Liaise with insurance adjusters and provide necessary documentation for claims.
  • Stay updated on repair techniques, industry trends, and estimating software.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
