Position Summary:
Join our Hospitality Family at Food and Thought 2 and thrive as a Bartender, embodying a diverse range of attributes to the success of our Guest and Associate experience, including:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master of Beverage Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of all things alcohol, from origins to flavor profiles.
  • Creative Cocktail Crafting: Exceptional skill in crafting cocktails with creativity and precision.
  • Engaging Customer Communication: Stellar ability to engage customers and offer spot-on recommendations.
  • Top-tier Customer Service: Dedication to top-tier service, handling inquiries and issues with finesse.
  • Proficient in Bar Operations: Proficiency in all bar operations, from equipment to inventory management.
  • Speed and Efficiency: Master of multitasking and time management in a bustling bar environment.
  • Certified Responsible Professional: Completion of necessary training for safe and legal alcohol service.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting: Lift heavy objects weighing up to 160 pounds, such as kegs.
  • Stand and/or Walk: Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Pushing, and Pulling: Capable of regularly lifting and/or pushing or pulling objects.
  • Tolerance to Environmental Conditions: Able to work in various temperatures, including hot, humid, and cold environments, as well as tolerate moderate amounts of dust and cleaning agents.
  • Allergies: Must be able to work with a wide variety of fresh products without experiencing negative allergic reactions.
  • Flexibility and Mobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move around as needed.
  • Step-stool and Ladder: Ability to utilize a step-stool or a ladder.
  • Physical Balance: Able to maintain physical balance and stability while performing tasks.
  • Manual Dexterity: Proficient in both gross and fine manipulation.
  • Reaching: Capable of reaching below or at the waist and overhead.
  • Communication Skills: Effective speaking skills to convey instructions and communicate with coworkers clearly and accurately, especially in a loud or busy environment.
  • Vision: Peripheral vision and near and far visual acuity are essential.
