Food & Thought 2 is Naples' premier organic restaurant and market. We are a full-service organic restaurant and are proud to be the only all-organic sit-down restaurant in Naples. About You:
- Must be 18+ (no exceptions)
- Experience in customer service, retail, or food service is a bonus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-pace environment
- Passionate about food, health, and wellness
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus!
- Non-slip shoes are required for safety (please bring your own)
- Authorized to work in the US
- Relaible transportation to join in on our Hospitality adventures!
Responsibilities:
- Stocking and Restocking: Keep the bar stocked with everything it needs – alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and more.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and sanitized bar area, including countertops, sinks, and floors.
- Assisting Bartenders: Help bartenders with drink preparation, garnishes, and customer requests.
- Inventory Management: Track stock levels and notify management when supplies run low.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to all guests.
- Supporting Bar Operations: Set up the bar before opening and close it down after service, ensuring all equipment is in working order.
Physical Requirements:
- Vision Acuity: Peripheral vision and near/far visual accuracy are crucial.
- Hearing Ability: Effectively hear and respond to instructions in a bustling environment.
- Allergy Tolerance: Able to handle a wide variety of fresh ingredients without adverse allergic reactions.
- Step-Stool and Ladder Use: Confidently utilize a step-stool or ladder as needed.
- Physical Balance: Maintain stability and balance while executing tasks efficiently.
- Clear Communication Skills: Convey instructions clearly and communicate with team members effectively, even in busy or noisy environments.
- Reaching Ability: Capable of reaching below the waist, at the waist, and overhead.
- Tolerance to Environmental Conditions: Comfortable working in diverse temperatures (hot, humid, cold) and tolerating moderate amounts of dust and cleaning agents.
- Keg Handling: Must be able to lift up to 160 pounds for loading and unloading kegs.
