Position Summary
The Automotive Service Technician plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by performing skilled diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services. You will be responsible for accurate troubleshooting and delivering high-quality service while maintaining professionalism and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately troubleshoot customer concerns using the latest technical and administrative tools
- Provide courteous and respectful customer interactions at all times
- Act as a secondary customer greeter near the Service Drive when needed
- Stay current with technical publications, Service Comm, and Asist terminal operations
- Ensure safe and proper vehicle servicing, addressing all customer concerns on the first visit
- Inspect vehicles for additional service opportunities following local and factory recommendations
- Return customers' vehicles clean or cleaner than when received
- Participate in factory or in-house training programs to enhance skills
- Complete all required paperwork thoroughly and accurately, attaching necessary documents to repair orders
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Maintain punctuality and present a clean, professional appearance in uniform

Qualifications
- Experience in performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on various vehicle makes and models
- Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals
- Excellent communication skills and professional appearance
- High-energy personality with a positive attitude
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions
- Good judgment and decision-making skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- ASE certification demonstrating technical aptitude required
- Technical or trade school degree preferred
