AUTOMOTIVE SENIOR SALES ASSISTANT

THE POSITION: The Automotive Senior Sales Assistant is our day-to-day assistance to our Lane Managers and will require usage of our DMS, Manufacturer accesses, CRM tools and vetting/qualifying support for the entire LaFontaine Automotive Group. This position is a fast way to learn under some of the most seasoned Managers in our group and process/attention to detail will be of the upmost importance.

  • Goal/Career Oriented! This is a fast-track position to becoming a Desk Manager within our department.

Education and Experience:

  • Knowledge of VinSolutions not a requirement but favored.
  • Knowledge of Reynolds/Reynolds not a requirement but favored.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • VinSolutions (CRM) data entry.
  • Sold order tracking/logging and follow up.
  • Qualifying/Vetting request for quotes.
  • Quoting directly to our members of the group will be required after proper training is completed.
  • Coordinating and scheduling off-site deliveries.
  • Locating/Confirming available inventory at each of our locations.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
  • Occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Regularly required to stand, talk, and hear.
  • Frequently is required to walk and sit.
  • Is potentially exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
