Job Description:
  • Advanced Diagnostic and Troubleshooting:

    • Utilize advanced Mopar/Stellantis diagnostic tools (e.g., WiTECH, MicroPod, CDA) and software to accurately diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software-related issues on all CDJR models, including gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains.

    • Interpret complex diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), analyze live data streams, and review technical service bulletins (TSBs) to identify the root cause of vehicle malfunctions.

    • Perform comprehensive system tests for engine performance, transmission, electrical systems, HVAC, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), suspension, steering, and braking systems.

  • Expert Repair and Maintenance:

    • Execute highly complex repairs across all vehicle systems, including engine overhauls, transmission rebuilds, sophisticated electrical system repairs, module flashing and programming, and high-voltage hybrid/EV system work.

    • Perform all levels of factory-scheduled maintenance and repairs in strict accordance with Stellantis (Mopar) specifications, procedures, and warranty guidelines.

    • Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently, striving for "Fixed Right the First Time" (FRFT) to minimize comebacks and enhance customer loyalty.

    • Conduct rigorous post-repair quality checks and test drives to verify proper vehicle operation.

  • Technical Leadership and Mentorship:

    • Act as the primary technical expert and resource for other technicians (A, B, and C-level), service advisors, and parts department personnel.

    • Provide guidance, on-the-job training, and support to less experienced technicians, helping them develop their diagnostic and repair capabilities on CDJR vehicles.

    • Stay current with the latest CDJR vehicle technologies, model updates, and repair techniques through continuous manufacturer-provided training (web-based, instructor-led, and Mopar CAP programs).

  • Documentation and Compliance:

    • Accurately and thoroughly document all diagnostic steps, repairs performed, parts used, and recommended future services on repair orders and the dealership's management system.

    • Strictly adhere to all Stellantis warranty policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental (hazardous waste disposal) and safety (OSHA) guidelines.
