MARKETING SPECIALIST

THE POSITION: The Marketing Specialist works closely daily with the Marketing Specialist Team Lead, Brand Marketing Managers, Marketing Specialists and Co-op Specialist on the coordination and execution of marketing initiatives, creative design, website updates, social media efforts, online directory management, and manufacturer co-op compliance. This key team member is responsible for the coordination and organization of projects across the corporate marketing team and reports to the Corporate Marketing Manager.

Education and Experience:

  • 1+ years in marketing or communications position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft.
  • 1+ years of social media marketing (experience in automotive social media a plus)
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest
  • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
  • Previous experience in marketing is a plus.
  • Video creation and editing a plus.
  • Content Creation a plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communication with Brand Marketing Managers, Marketing Specialists, and Co-op Specialist
  • Communication with dealership management team and sales and service team members
  • Project coordination and completion by specified deadlines
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve ROI.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to align ad creatives with campaign goals.
  • Manage budgets, track spend, and report on campaign performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital advertising.
  • Knowledge of OEM, and LaFontaine Automotive Group brand guidelines
  • Assists in execution of marketing efforts across all LaFontaine Automotive Group locations. This includes but is not limited to: project management, website audits and updates, online directory audits and updates, digital advertising execution (SEO, SEM, Social, display, video), creative design, email campaign development and distribution,  traditional media execution (television, radio, print, direct mail, billboard, events, etc.), manufacturer compliance and pre-approvals, other assigned marketing tasks, third-party listing site audits and management, manufacturer pre-approvals, co-op compliance, documentation collection and reimbursement submissions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
