AUTOMOTIVE INVENTORY CLERK

THE POSITION: The Inventory Clerk assures proper control of all merchandise and related administrative functions.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • 1-3 years in automotive parts preferred. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly stock orders
  • Verifies that all orders are accurate
  • Enters merchandise into the system
  • Enters credits for returned merchandise
  • Removes returned merchandise from inventory after credit is received
  • Matches purchase orders and invoices and forwards them to the accounting department
  • Files copies of all invoices
  • Assists in preparing for inventory and participate in inventory

Physical Requirements:

  • Required to stand, sit, use hand to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Frequently is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach with hands and arms, take, and hear.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
