Down Home Harley-Davidson is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Apparel and Licensing Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our MotorClothes® and general merchandise department. This role is responsible for maintaining an exceptional retail experience, overseeing Harley-Davidson branded apparel and licensed products, and supporting dealership goals through effective merchandising and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Sales Support
- Deliver outstanding customer service and represent the Harley-Davidson lifestyle with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Assist customers with product selection, sizing, and purchases.
- Train and guide team members to enhance product knowledge and upselling techniques.
- Inventory & Merchandising
- Assist in ordering, receiving, tagging, and stocking merchandise.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and help with regular cycle counts.
- Execute visual merchandising plans and ensure displays are clean, organized, and brand-compliant.
- Team Supervision
- Help manage daily schedules and task assignments for the MotorClothes® team.
- Support staff training, coaching, and performance feedback in coordination with management.
- Lead by example on the sales floor with a hands-on, positive attitude.
- Marketing & Branding Support
- Assist in preparing dealership-branded merchandise in compliance with Harley-Davidson licensing guidelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions, events, and social media content for the apparel department.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of retail sales experience (apparel or lifestyle brand preferred)
- Prior team lead or supervisory experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service
- Ability to stay organized, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Familiarity with Harley-Davidson culture and products preferred
- Basic computer skills (POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office)
